Version 2026-08-02-1

You must not use Counter for unlawful surveillance, sensitive-trait profiling, malware, harassment, impersonation, denial of service, quota evasion, unauthorized security testing, or fabricated traffic that consumes shared capacity. You may collect analytics only for sites you control or are authorized to operate, and you must not collect credentials, messages, or secrets.

You may monitor only domains you control. Do not use redirects or DNS changes to reach private infrastructure, and do not use the monitoring service for vulnerability scans, traffic amplification, or availability attacks.

Do not put passwords, tokens, financial or health information, message contents, or directly identifying visitor data in URLs, page titles, event names, referrers, or custom properties. Do not bypass required visitor notices, consent choices, Do Not Track, or Global Privacy Control.

We may reject events or suspend accounts to contain abuse, unlawful activity, or security risks. Material account actions by an operator require a recorded reason. Report abuse and security concerns using the contact below. security@webcounter.ca
